Entangle is an application having a simple user interface that
allows users or photographers to control their DSLR cameras (Canon,
Nikon, etc.) remotely from a computer through a USB connection, this
process is also known as tethered shooting.
With Entangle, you will be able from your desktop to take photographs, trigger camera's shutter remotely, view and display pictures taken with support for automatic downloading and live previews. It's also possible to control your camera's settings from your computer.
Entangle is hosted in GetDeb which is currently offline, you can alternatively install it via the PPA below which is available for the following Ubuntu/Linux Mint distros:
